To stroll around the streets of Barcelona from shop to shop is to discover a world full of possibilities to satisfy all kinds of tastes and all budgets. Barcelona itself is like one large shopping centre whose main axis, known as the Shopping Line, consists of a five-kilometre pedestrian precinct with wide pavements which is guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding requirements. Craftsmen’s workshops, exclusive shops, franchises, shopping centres and street markets are all part of Barcelona’s shopping possibilities. There are three main shopping areas in the city:
PASEO DE GRACIA
This is one of the most famous streets in Barcelona and it is filled with shops. You can find here exclusive boutiques as Louis Vuitton or Santa Eulalia. Also you will find in Paseo de Gracia anything you are looking for.
This street crosses the city from east to west so you can imagine how many shops and malls you cand find there. Corte Inglés, Diagonal Mar o L’illa Diagonal are some of them.
This is one of the most crowded and more popular area for tourists. Plaza Catalunya is one of the best places for shopping.
There you can find malls with international brands and also traditional artisan shops around.
